Disney Princess Walkie Talkies- No Workies

I bought my friend's 2 young daughters the Disney Princess Walkie Talkies for their birthday. They were so excited to get it, because now they could talk to each other if they were in another room instead of yelling or running back and forth. They wanted to try it out while I was there and were disappointed at what went wrong. We could only hear static through both handsets and we tried almost every possible length to see which one gaves us better reception. Thinking I had picked up a defective set, I returned it to the store and exchanged it for another set. Same problem happened with these, so I returned it and asked for the money back. They had said that my complaint was the 5th one they had that day about the Disney Princess Walkie Talkies.
Oh my! You should write or email the manufacturer to complain too.
Oh no! How sad for the little princesses! It's too bad that after more than one of these brought back they didn't realize they had a problem with it. I hope that you were able to get something better for them.

I hate it when children are disappointed by something that is made by a company that caters to children like Disney. I am sorry these did not work out.

There cute, but thanks for the warning. If my daughter had seen these she would have begged for them. So glad i know now not to make the purchase.

Aaaaaw... So sad to see the kids get so excited and then not have it work. I'll stay away from these too! Kids walkie talkies are not looking good on SR right now...
Thanks for the honest information. So sorry about the disappointment of the kids. With the Disney name on it, Disney needs to take into consideration that this could hurt their reputation. Lets hope they do something to make these better in the future.
What a disappointment for the girls. I hope they fix this problem soon and make a better quality product.
