Disney Villains Jigsaw Puzzle

As you can tell from my nickname I am a Disney fan. We collect many Disney related items but we tend to focus on our favorite characters which are the Disney Villains. Unfortunately merchandise related to them is much more limited than with many of the other characters so we were very surprised to find this puzzle in the Dollar Store of all places.

This puzzle just happens to be of my husbands favorite villain which is Jafar from the movie Aladdin. It is one in a series of 4 of the Disney villains. The others are Scar from The Lion King, The Evil Queen from Snow White and the Chesire Cat fro Alice in Wonderland. It's a small puzzle and has only 150 pieces and is recommended for ages 6 and up. The completed size of the puzzle is 10 1/2" x 9". It features a full picture of Jafar and his pet parrot Iago on a purple background.

We had no idea what we were going to do with the puzzle but we had to have it. Last night my kids and I sat down and put it together for fun. The hardest part of it was getting the box opened since it was sealed with the label all the way around. We laughed and talk and had it together in less than an hour but it was an hour of together time that was well spent.

We surprised my husband with it when he got home and he thought it was cute so we are going to get some glue and seal it together so we can display it somewhere in our play room. Just goes to show, you never know what you are going to stumble upon at the Dollar Store.

Update On Feb 07, 2010: Today we went back and got the Evil Queen one and Scar form the Lion King so we now have 3 of the 4 in the series.
