Disney World In Orlando Florida By Mari360 By Mari360 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
I had been to WDW many times as a child and decided that when my DD was born that I would take her. She is only 3 years old and she has been there 3 times already. A lot of people have many doubts about taking their kids to WDW. My daughter LOVED it there. Even when she was 1 she loved it. Even thought people say she will not remember she will see all the pictures. Before i went i didn't know how good it would be for her considering there is not many activities advertised for a 1 year old. But i was pleasantly surprised. In each park they have a kid section like a playground. And the decorating of the park was great. It helped that she was familiar with all the character from Disney and it was a bonus that the charactes were all over the parks. The overall atmosphere is kid friendly. Just seeing your child's face when they meet Mickey for the first time is worth it. The cast members there are very friendly, if you ask them for something they are very helpful and NEVER in a bad mood. As far as the food at the parks and resorts it was great. I am a very happy to say that I have eaten at many of the restaurants in the WDW and have been pleased with all of them. You can get Mexican, America, Japanese, French, etc. they are very diverse in the food they serve. And the servers are very friendly. Another added feature of the parks if that if you stay on one of their resorts you get complimentary transportation to each park. Which helps a family save some money on having to rent a car. I would recommend going to WDW with our child but it is up to a parent to know their own child.
