Reviewing: Pop Century Value Resort

We stayed at Pop Century Resort in Disney World in Aug. of this year. This is one of the value resorts they have 4 all together. This resrt is large it has 5 sections each with 4 floors the 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, and 90's each section has it's own theme as to what was popular at that time. There are Giant icons all over the place, in the 70's cection they have a large big wheel, cassette tapes, in the 50's a large juke box, bowling pins we were in the 90's and we had large rubics cube, cel phone, a computer and key board, really cool. It was so neat to walk around the resort and see all the different icons of the past. My boys are 7 & 9 and where asking us what alot of the 8-track tapes were! Made us feel old! The resort has 3 pools one in the 50's one in the 60's and one in the 90'sthe gift shop and restraunt are in the middle. The house keepers were great if you wanted extra towels I just left a note or called the front desk and they bought them up. The bus service was also good we missed a couple of buses but only had to wait for about 10 mins. until another one was pulling in. We went to the restruant 2 times and it was very crowded both times and very slow that is my only complaint. The pool were not crowded but we did not go swimming until about 9:30 each nite. In the rooms you have a hair dryer and a coffee pot. You can get a fridge for about $10.00 a day but we did not need one.Over all this is a great place to stay the kids will love it.
