Disney's Old Key West
By cukal6 onI have stayed at Walt Disney World's Old Key West twice in two years and I am planning another trip back.We stayed in a two bedroom suite and a studio.
The two bedroom suite was perfect! One bedroom had a king bed and an adjoining bathing with a big jacuzzi tub and separate shower. The second bedroom had two queen beds with an attached bathroom.Standard tub and shower. There was also a full kitchen that was completely stocked with everything but the food.My favorite part of the entire room, a full size washer and dryer. That meant less packing!!! Ther was also a nice patio area that overlooked the golf course.
The studio of course was smaller but still worked for us. It had two queen beds, a large bathroom, and a mini fridge.Again, we had a patio that overlooked the grounds.
The resort itself is very relaxing and you could easily forget that you're at Disney World. It's very large but every room is near a bus stop. You can also park your vehicle right next to your room if you've driven there.
The main house definitely reminds you of Old Key West. It's open and airy and very friendly. The sit down restaurant is Olivia's and it's delicious. There's also an Olivia's to go that has fast food such as hamburgers and hot dogs.
We love this resort and would recommend it to anyone.

I have stayed at most of the resorts, but none of the DVC ones yet. Will be next door at Port Orleans Riverside in 2 days! Need to check OKW out! Did you go through Disney or rent from DVC?
Love the Disney hotels, but haven't stayed there yet as we don't have DVC. Maybe one day!
I have not heard of this at Disney. Is this on the Disney property? I think it sounds very relaxing!
Sounds like a great venue to stay out! Thanks for all the info!
