Disney's Tarzan Ost By charmed1_cat on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

My favorite Disney movie of all time is surprisingly not about the Disney's princesses, but the story of Tarzan itself. What made the movie more great is its award-winning soundtrack, the songs mostly by the amazing Phil Collins. The Tarzan soundtrack was the first Disney movie to be recorded in multiple languages. It was released by 1999, i know its about a decade ago, but I still love listening to it. My personal favorite is "You'll be in my heart". its a duet between Glenn Close and Phil Collins. It's a heartwarming song that is played when tarzan was still a child and was cared by his ape mother. The love between them is clearly undeniable. "Two worlds" is another great hit. it's all about being one family despite being of different species. "trashin' the tramp" is a fun number, the part where the young gorillas and elephant friend of tarzan made a musical noise out of the human things, like breakin' the dishes. It was recorded by Phil Collins and the popular boy band, Nsync. Other tracks you might enjoy listening to are: "Son of Man", "Strangers like me" and "One Family". The CD has fourteen tracks, and I guarantee it not just for the kiddos but to adults as well. It's a musical treat you will enjoy. If you love the movie, you'll definitely love the original soundtrack. It will be on my CD player for years.
