Divine Heresy Bleed The Fifth By Nicholas Harrell on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

With the departure of Dino Cazares from Fear Factory, I thought I had heard the last of him. He has now returned with a new band, Divine Heresy with singer Tommy Vex. I had really high hopes for this album, as Im a huge Dino fan, but in all truth, there is not a lot here. The tracks all kinda blend together with similar riff structure, same drum beats, and lack of originality on the lyrics. I was actually very disappointed by this. I figured the cd might be a grower, but listening through this multiple times has not helped this one at all. Only stand out track I can think of is the title track, and even it was mediocre at best. I just hope they either decide on better songwriting, or go their seperate ways with this band. Not recommended.
