DIXIE ULTRA PAPER BOWLS

My girlfriend knows how much I like a nice hot bowl of soup or chili. We are pretty busy a good deal of the time so we have come to appreciate items such as these. At first I was really pretty doubtful as to how these would stand up in the microwave.
I like my food served really hot and I could just picture these bowls soaking right through. This did not turn out to be the case though and I really enjoy just how strong they are as well. They have what is called by the company a soak proof shield coating.
I am not sure exactly what they cost but she estimates that they were in the 8-10 dollar range. They come 120 to the package at B.J.'s Warehouse. I have also used them for our dogs water when we go to the park with him. They also make a nice ice cream sundae bowl if one is so inclined.
Just for the heck of it I decided to see if they could stand up to washing them. I lightly washed one and it came through it all just fine. I later refused it and then tossed it away. Hence it is possible to get more than one use out of them. A nice product for someone who is very busy or on the go alot.
I didn't even know those existed. While I don't usually like using throw-away items but they're great for parties and bigger crowds.
You are right Frank. Throw away items are not always the best idea cost wise etc but sometimes folks really need a good time and back saver. In that realm they are great.
