I bought the mixman a few years ago and played with it for a while but then I put it away. Just recently I brought it back out and have been having a blast with it because I found out new capabilities. THe mixman is a turntable of sort that you connect to your computer. It comes with its own program but from my experience the program is extremely boring and not very useful. What I did was that you can download certain programs that allow you to use the actual programs that DJ's might use with a real turntable. This completely changes the DM2 into a turntable that you bought for a fraction of the price! The wheels are very fun and the new capabilities allow you to scratch, mix, and combine any MP3's and sound files you may have. It is very compact and easy to carry and connects to your computer through a USB. THe only gripe I may have is that installing the programs to make it function like a real turntable can be cumbersome, but once done it is well worth it because of its functionality and the money you saved.

Interesting I purchased one of these for my oldest son when he was in high school because he was interested in dj'ing. Not sure if he still has it but will check it out and tell him about the downloads. Thanks for the info.
