Do It Yourself Christmas Cards By Alice on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

This year I'm making my own Christmas cards to send to family and friends. I needed a little help to get started so I purchased a 5 pack of Express Yourself DIY Cards. The pack I purchased was called SNOW BEADS and came with everything needed to make the cards. You don't need scissors, just a small tube of all purpose glue and you're set to go. My kit came with Christmas toppers, printed patches & captions, pearly sequins, white glitter, gold thread, a set of lettered beads (enough to spell out 5 words) and of course the cards and envelopes. I thought this was a very easy project to do. My cards look very professional and like I spent a long time making them when in fact it was very easy and took me less than an hour. The cost of this kit was $7.99, on sale for $4.99 so each card cost me only $1.00....what a bargain compared to store bought cards!!

Sounds like fun, and you're getting started early enough to enjoy it!

Seems like a cool idea for the family if you have young kids.
