Do Not Rely On ReliOn 9 Second Thermometer

Reviewing: Reli On Digital Thermometer
Purchased at: Walmart     Price: $8.52 USD

I have been quite sick since Christmas Eve, with an inner ear and sinus infection. From time to time, I thought it wise to take my temperature, so I purchased a new ReliOn 9-Second Flexible Tip Thermometer.Well, I can honestly say, that the fastest is not always the most accurate. Time after time, I would get readings below normal. At first I thought, perhaps my fever broke and it's low. But it seemed that every time I took my temperature it was always too low.

One day I finally wised up, and tried another type of thermometer. I had a fever!!! Lord knows how long I had fever in the previous days, but was counting on the new thermometer. Needless to say, I am disappointed in this one, and will NOT be using it again. Many ReliOn thermometers are great, but this one belongs in the trash can.

It features an audible signal when the readout is ready, as well as memory recall of the last reading. It also is waterproof for ease in cleaning. It has an automatic shut-off, and a clear storage case.

But the bottom line is: Mine didn't work! Whether this is a product flaw in general, or just a unique case, I'm not sure. But I will purchase one with a longer readout time next time.

Sorry that you are still sick - I am finally over my sinus infection from November. Worst ever! And sorry the thermometer didn't work right. It's a good thing you finally tried a different one. Hope you feel better soon.
