Do Other Crockpots Rival Rival's Crockpot? By April on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

When I first got married, I received a small crockpot for a wedding gift. Since I have added two children into my family, we upgraded over Christmas to a much larger, 5 quart Rival Crockpot. I am so happy I did, because this crockpot rocks!

I can make just about any recipe I want in my crockpot because of the size of it. I can make pot roast, lasagne, soup, potatoes, applesauce and others and enjoy the smell throughout the day. When I am done cooking in my crockpot, I simpley rinse it out, and depending on time, either throw the take-out bowl in the dishwasher or hand wash it. The heating element has stayed intact since I bought the crockpot-and it wears well!

If you are thinking of upgrading from a small two-quart crockpot to a larger size, definetely buy a Rival Crockpot! I recommend a five-quart since it will hold so much and allow you to make some awesome meals!
