Do Your Golf Shoes Need a Special Bag?

Reviewing: Disney Men's Embroidered Golf Shoe Bag
Purchased at: Team Mickey Athletic Club     Price: $19.99 USD

When I asked my husband what I could bring him back from a trip to Disney without him he asked me to go to Downtown Disney's Team Mickey and pick him up a golf shoe bag.I said "A What?"I was confused, don't golfers keep their shoes in their golf bag, the one with all the gigantic pockets all over the sides? Can you tell I don't golf?

Well, after my daughter (a golfer) assured me there was such a thing I stopped in at Team Mickey and asked the castmember working at the counter where I could find one of these bags (half expecting him to laugh at me).It was like a magical moment, there they were, all lined up pretty and embroidered with the Disney logo and the word golf!!I picked up the bag and opened up the zipper and could actually believe people might use these.

The golf shoe bag I purchased is made of a very heavy duty black canvas. The sides have a black vinyl mesh on the upper part (for stinky shoes to air out I suppose). It measures 15" high, 10-1/2" across and about 4-1/2" deep.It zips halfway down on both sides to tuck your shoes in.There is a large zippered section in front that goes down the length of the bag and also a smaller zippered section in front of that. The inside back of the shoe bag contains some sort of stiff form to keep it flat for your shoes. There is a nice handle which you use to attach this bag to your actual golf bag.

Upon giving this to my dear husband I asked him where did he normally keep his golf shoes if not in his golf bag and he told me "Oh, I just throw them in the trunk with my golf bag".Gee, I just shake my head sometimes. This bag has been used for about three years and still looks pretty good as I had to hunt for it to take a picture.I was surprised at how well it had held up considering it just gets "thrown" in the trunk of his car!

I guess I should be happy he asked me to get this for him as he just informed me he would like a new pair of golf shoes for Father's Day this year and they are over $100.00.Holy cow, I would keep them in s special golf shoe bag too!!

What a nice bag. I had no idea where guys put their golf shoes either! I just wear my tennis shoes when I play. This is a great idea for a future gift. I'm going to check it out in September!

I don't golf, but my husband does. I think he just throws his shoes in the trunk too!

My answer to your title question for my own shoes would be "no" but my father was a rabid golfer, and I know his answer would have been yes; but he'd have needed multiple bags because he had multiple pairs of golf shoes at any given point! I'm glad you found this for your husband. Maybe you can find some shoes on sale?

This is also not only handy, but stops the war cry "Honey, where did YOU put my shoes???"

Much better deal on the bag than on the shoes, but I suppose he can't put one bag on each foot.
