I recently purchased a pair of black, flat front, classic fit Docker pants. I have had many pairs of Dockers and tend to stay with the classic fit.
The classic fit pants sits right at your waist and are not baggy, nor are they tight. I would not classify them as very dressy, but they do the job for my work environment. I like how they come in a flat front option, for I prefer that to pleated.
The main problem I encounter with Dockers is that the color seems to fade rather quickly. After semiregular use, after about 9 months the color is very faded. I wish they would hold their color for a longer time.
They fit comfortably and come in many different waist and length sizes. I like the feel of the pants and I enjoy wearing them as well as how the look.

I agree Dockers do lose their color over time. My husband owns about 30 pairs and they all have faded with time.
I think flat front pants work well for men or women. Who needs pleats?!
