Dodge Grand Caravan 2005
By JOEY onMy family and I took a vacation trip to Florida to visit Disney in Orlando in 2005. We rented a Grand Caravan from Alamo. This vehicle performed liked a dream. The only problem was that the air conditioning did not operate. The spaciousness was tremendous and by far one of the most comfortable vehicles I have ever driven and my passengers commented on how comfortable the seating was. The gas mileage was impressive as well. (Considering we drove from Ct to Florida and back the gas mileage and comfort were a big priority to us. )I would also say that the overall appearance of the Dodge Caravan is tremendous. A very sharp looking vehicle. We are hoping that on are next trip we can once again rent a Dodge Grand Caravan. Thats how impressed we are with what the vehicle had to offer. I would also consider a purchase of one in the future.
I agree that the Dodge Caravan is very comfortable for long trips. Also, being a wheelchair user, I find the seats folding into the floor in the back being extremely convenient. Also the rubberized top of the back bumper makes using a portable ramp easier, less chance of scratches. ;)
I have heard that the gas mileage on this van is really good!
Many people like the space of a van, i just don't like driving behind them. Hope you had a good Disney trip in your Van.
We have a Dodge Caravan & it does have alot of room. You can move around so easily from front to back to check the kids or pick up an item. Easy to drive. Very nice.
