Dodge Grand Caravan Sxt By MomTwoBoys on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I purchased this minivan in the Summer of 2007. We were looking for a van that had the automatic sliding dual doors and Stow 'n' Go. Both this van and the Honda Oddessy were our choices. The Honda is definitely more sleek and luxury like. This van is the closest second. The Dodge GC SXT drives very smooth, has a lot of room with the third row seating. The seats all fold down into the floor for extra room or hauling.

The gas mileage isn't so bad either considering the vehicle. At $3.13 a gallon, it's about $55 to fill up and that gives me approximately 400 miles to go on.

One of the things this vehicle doesn't have a lot of are options. Unlike the Honda, you cann;t tug on the outside sliding door handle and have the door close. They act like regular sliding doors from previous years. There also aren't a lot of options for the driver. I expected much more out of this van due to the brand, year and size (it being a "Grand" Caravan).

Even with the lack of options, this is a great vehicle, it drives nicely and it's a perfect family car that is reliable and affordable.

This sounds like a very nice van. Thanks for sharing.
