Does A New Emerson Microwave Compare To The Old? By April on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

The day after Christmas my fourteen-year-old microwave decided it had finally had enough. Upon researching small microwaves, I thought my best bet was going to be a $60 700-watt microwave just large enough to reheat my leftovers. What I found at the store, hidden away behind other appliances, was a leftover Emerson microwave nowhere else on display. I was able to haggle a price of $25 for the unwanted machine, and went home to try my product out. I was pleasantly surprised!

The microwave has many different cooking options, ranging from boiling water to popping popcorn and thawing meat. All I have to do is push a button, select the quantity or pounds and hit start. It's as simple as pie! The microwave heats what I want it to at a reasonable speed. Since I don't actually cook in the microwave, the small one was perfect for me.

If you are in the market for a new, small microwave, give the Emerson MW9710W a try-it will surprise you, too!
