Does a New Emerson Microwave Compare to the Old?
By April onThe day after Christmas my fourteen-year-old microwave decided it had finally had enough.Upon researching small microwaves, I thought my best bet was going to be a $60 700-watt microwave just large enough to reheat my leftovers. What I found at the store, hidden away behind other appliances, was a leftover Emerson microwave nowhere else on display.I was able to haggle a price of $25 for the unwanted machine, and went home to try my product out.I was pleasantly surprised!
The microwave has many different cooking options, ranging from boiling water to popping popcorn and thawing meat. All I have to do is push a button, select the quantity or pounds and hit start. It's as simple as pie!The microwave heats what I want it to at a reasonable speed.Since I don't actually cook in the microwave, the small one was perfect for me.
If you are in the market for a new, small microwave, give the Emerson MW9710W a try-it will surprise you, too!
