Does Not Do The License Justice By Kevin Roman on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

This 3rd person shooter is pointless to play. It is generic, has atrocious 25 second load times, and mediocre controls. At least when you get past the flaws, it can be somewhat fun to play. The control scheme does not stick to the popular dual analog setup for the Playstation 2; it uses one analog to move forwards and backwards but has you strafe with L1/R1 to move left and right. This takes a little while to get used to, but it isn't too problematic. Fortunately, the weapons upgrade system is pretty good; you have 3 guns to choose from based on if you are agent Jay or Kay from the movies, and you power up the guns as you get icons matching it. However, Men in Black II: Alien Escape is not worth playing for this terrible presentation and there are dime-a-dozen 3rd person shooters that do not have these problems. At least the graphics and sound are decent and it has a feel for the movies because you are shooting aliens as agent Jay or Kay with high-tech weaponry. However, giving the weapons rapid-fire would have been a good idea to use.
