Dog Dental Chew By HillaryM on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Considering my dog does not eat a whole lot of dry dog food, I am always on the look out for good dental chew treats. I stumbled upon these Brite Bite Treats when I was in Jake's Dog House and the clerk recommended them to me. I like the fact that these treats were made from quality ingredients and included no wheat gluten, so I picked up a box to try them. I was not satisfied with these treats. My dog was able to eat this treat in a matter of minutes, so it wasn't very effective in the teeth cleaning department. Additionally, it broke up to quickly and he ate a large piece whole and got a tummy ache from it. However, I did give my leftover treats to my sister and her dogs managed fine with them. The treats are small and shaped like stars, which is cute. The dogs do love the cinnamon flavor. These come with twelve stars to a package, so depending on how quickly your dog eats them it is a decent value.
