This Safari Grooming Comb is for Medium to Coarse coats. I use this comb on two of my dogs that have medium coarse coats and it works great! I like this comb because it has two ends, one with wider teeth and the other end with narrow teeth. When I first start grooming them, I use the wider teeth to comb through their coat easier to get the tangles out, and then I switch to the narrow teeth side to finish the final combing. This comb is very durable. I have had it for a long time and it is still like brand new. The teeth also have rounded ends, so it doesn't hurt my dogs when I am using it. It catches the loose hairs and you can easily pull the hair off the comb and throw it away. I wash it with warm water and soap from time to time to keep it clean. My dogs enjoy being groomed by this comb.
