Let me start off by saying that I am not a big fan of muzzles, but decided to try one for various reasons. I was not a fan of this product. The product looks nice, it is well constructed and I feel it was reasonably priced. However, My dog had this product off at will when he wanted to bark or growl. I tried various different fittings, but each time he simply pushed it from his snout with ease. Considering I wasn't all that comfortable using a muzzle on my dog, I simply stopped using them altogether. When I purchased this muzzle it looked like the most sensible design they had available, so I don't anticipate any other muzzles being more effective. All though this muzzle was well constructed, I would not recommend it, because it was to easy for my dog to remove it.
