Dog Treats By Amy Denney on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I love my dogs! They can tend to drive one crazy though. They have gotten into the habit of having an after-dinner snack along with the kids. My mutt will eat anything and truly appreciates it. My collie is extremely picky. I have tried many different treats and biscuits but she will either try it once or twice and then turn her nose up to it or not try it at all. I know that she would prefer that I just go ahead and cook a pound of bacon for her every night. She would be satisfied with that.

My sister who works at a boarding kennel came over to visit. She always has dog treats in her pockets. This time she had Ol' Roy bones. The little dog took one and ran. He was sooo happy. My collie had the expression of "If you did not cook it yourself, I am not eating it." She held out a biscuit and the collie took it very gently and proceeded to drop it on the floor never looking away from my sister's face. We both ignored her and she finally ate it. She actually came back and asked for another one.

I will definitely buy some when I go to the store!
