Dolgencorp 4x6 Print Photo Album By cnt24 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
I like to consider myself a photographer of sorts. I own two cameras and one happens to be a film camera. I don't use the film camera too often, because of the cost of developing, but when I do I take a lot of pictures. Then I'm stuck with no place to store photos I don't really want to display but want to keep.
Dollar General to the rescue! They have Dolgencorp 100 print storage photo albums for 2.50 a pop. You can literally store more if you double up second prints of the same scene. These albums are compact, about 4 ¾ x 6 ¾ x 2 (in inches) and hold your standard 4x6 prints. These albums are also fairly well made for my purposes. I have one album I use for recipe cards. I refer to it repeatedly and it has held up well to the flipping.
They come in a variety of patterns. You can match the pattern to the theme of your photos if you desire. The pattern I have pictured above reminded me of the beach so these albums hold pictures from trips to the beach.
I've found the Dolgencorp 100 print photo albums to work better for my film picture organization than photo boxes or large albums. My album collection is up to 10 and I will continue to purchase more, as I need them.
I have seen similar albums in a variety of stores, including Dollar Tree and Everything's a dollar, so you are not held to the $2.50 Dollar General price.

The one you pictured is colorful and attractive!
I found albums of this size but, really didn't like the design I had so I found a way to change it. I just cut out some fabric that I really like & fit it to just 1/2 inch bigger than the album & glued it to the outside. The 1/2 inch overlapped onto the inside. Then I cut a cardboard to size of the inner flap covered that with fabric & glued it down. Then put clothespins all over the edges till it dried. A little bit of work but, the end result is pretty.
We take pictures all the time, this would be useful.
I have bought these for my scrapbook friends would have too many pictures for their large albums. I like the variety of albums they have. Thanks for the review.
