About Donkey Kong

-Donkey Kong started as a coin operated game in 1981.

-The game involved three characters - Jumpman (now known as Mario), Donkey kong and Lady (now known as Pauline)

-The game involves mostly dodging obstacles and avoiding enemies.

-The game was ported to home systems like the Nintendo Entertainment System and coleco Vision.

The Game

-The game consists of four repetetive stages that repeat once the fourth stage is finished. Albeit with a higher level of difficulty.

-The first stage is a seven storey structure with ladders. Here Donkey Kong tosses oil barrels that become fireballs when it hits the flame.

-The second stage is a five storey struture with conveyor belts that transport cement.

-The third stage is a stage with elevator and bouncing weights.

-The fourth stage is a stage with rivets that you remove to make Donkey Kong fall.

The Verdict

-The game is fun and highly addictive.

-The game has however little replay value as the stages just keep repeating.

-The game is also challenging especially at the higher levels.
