I was tired of sweating at night time and having those sleepless nights tossing and turning so I went ot my local Sears and saw what they had for Air Conditioners and I found a 5800 btu GE Deluxe and I bought it and took it home put it right in the window. I only went with the 5800 btu because its sole purpose was to cool my bedroom not the whole house. I was very satisified with how cool the room got in a short amount of time. It was very easy to set up as all you had to do was put the side sheilds on and pull the window down on it to secure it. I did add a couple screws in to make sure it was secure enough in case. The cleaning of it only requires you to vacuum out the filter and I do that regularly or you do notice a little difference in the cooling. GE seems to have made very good Air Conditioner.
