Don't Buy Mr. Clean Power Multi Surface Wipes By Cyn Bagley on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
Usually I buy another brand of disinfecting multi-surface wipes for use in my kitchen. I am a scaredy bacteria freak. I blame it on my various medications and my disease, but that is another story. However, I need to make sure that my counters are carefully cleaned after I make a meal or finish my dishes.
When I saw this new disinfecting wipes from Mr. Clean, I was pleased to try it. My family has used Mr. Clean products for years, especially in the bathroom and other germy places. It usually has a nice smell that doesn't bother my sinuses or cause sneezing. The other Mr. Clean products I have used, also cleans the surfaces extremely well.
Unfortunately, this is not the case with the MR. Clean Power multi-surface wipes. First I am complaining about the smell. When I first opened the container I started sneezing. The smell was not pleasant. It is supposed to be a lemon scent. It sure doesn't smell like any lemon I have ever met and these wipes do not have that fresh smell of other Mr. Clean products.
When I wiped the surfaces of my stove and counters, I needed to use twice the wipes. Also, the wipes were dry because the container they were in does not seal properly. About this point, I have vowed that I will not buy this product again. But, I have to finish using it because I just don't have the money to throw it away.
I was very disappointed because I have never had such problems with Mr. Clean. I might have to rethink my loyalty to the brand.

So sorry you didn't like this product. I tried the Mr. Clean magic eraser and found it wasn't quite what I was expecting. I had to use a lot of elbow grease and wipe several times yet still wasn't able to completely eradicate the mark. Mr. Clean products have been a disappointment to me of late.
I love the Lemon and the Orange Clorox wipes! Sorry these turned out to be such a disappointment!
