A blender can be used for several different applications. But, if the blender is an inferior product, you may find yourself only using your blender a few times a year.
I was searching for a blender when I stumbled upon the Sunbeam 10-Speed Blender. The price was only $15, so I thought it was worth trying. I got home and took it out of the package and was pleased with my purchase, until I tried to use it.
My grandmother always uses her blender to make a mixture for her famous cheese balls. When I tried to this with my Sunbeam Blender though, it did not work at all. I kept having to scrap the side of the blender. That was the only time I got to use my blender. After washing it, I noticed the plastic jar had cracked.
I don't think I have to tell you what a waste of money this was. If you need a new blender, do yourself a favor and choose a brand that is known for making high quality products. Also be sure to choose a model that has a glass jar.

I liked my cheapie Sunbeam for the fact that I rarely use a blender. It's great for the light, occasional use. I only use it to make shakes and smoothies and probably only pull it out every few months.
