Dora Abc Game By JustMe on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

This game states that it is for preschool age children. We got it when my daughter was 2.5 and she did not really understand the concept of actually playing the game properly. I think this game would be better suited for a 4-6 year old who is learning about phonics. The game board is large and it is a fun concept, however I think there are some things that sould have been changed about this game to bring it back down to the marketed age level. The children are supposed to identify the object that starts with a certain letter by looking at a picture. The pictures are not age appropriate in my opinion. For instance for "h" there is a picture of a whole ham. If you have a 4-6 year old this game might work better for you, but with a 2-3 year old, I would definitely hold off purchasing it.
