This is a hand held unit that requires no console and has plugs that connect to the T.V. directly with input plugs. Due to not having the console it is easy to store and won't create clutter in your house. It is created based on the Nickolodeon show "Dora the Explorer" and offers challenges for problem solving, math, and logic skills. It is a great game for 5 year olds and up. It has an easy to use joystick to guide you through the game. The game is a maze to get to the playground and has a positive 'we can do it" spin. my child loves the game because you see all of the characters that she is familiar with and it uses the map song and character to help you through the game. Swiper is a fun addition to the game and keeps Dora on her toes. This game I think is excellent for fans of the show and will be a great learnings tool. I think that the ease of use and the ease of play will make this a great starter video game for children.
