I just love these Dora the Explorer Big Books. I bought Dora's Words to Know A Talking Dictionary at Sam's Club. The price was right at 9.00 . This is an interactive book. Each page has a subject in English and Spanish plus the defintion. An example, the word baby and a picture of a baby. The child pushes the buttons with letters to spell out baby. You can then push the Spanish button to learn the Spanish word as Bebe. There is a definition button. Push it and you get the definition of baby. The definition is also on the page of the book in writing. A window appears at the top of the page on the right above the electronic button board. This window shows the words in digital form. Another example, blue or azul in Spanish-definition...the color of the sky on a sunny day and in a sentence...The sky is bright and blue. This book will help your child learn their ABCs, words, pronunciation,Spanish,sentence structure,colors,letters and definition. The book is 45 pages long. There is a total of 400 words in English and Spanish. If your child is a fan of Dora,this talking dictionary will help her/him to learn.
