Dove Grapefruit and Lemongrass Shampoo
By mustangsally82 onI am always on the quest to find a great shampoo. I got a free sample of this shampoo and figured it would be your standard stinky perfumey shampoo. I hate floral scents, and many clean scents too. I tend to gravitate towards sweet and fruity scents, but it's hard to find these without some floral undertones.
I was pleasantly surprised by this shampoo. It left my hair light and clean with a fresh scent. I have oily skin and sometimes I have to wash my hair twice to feel clean, but this shampoo did the trick in one wash. You can smell the grapefruit scent as well as a hint of lemon. It is just the right amount: not too overpowering but enough to wake you up in the morning. I liked the sample so much that I went out and bought some the next day.
The package has a lot of text/names, including "go fresh therapy," "energizing" and "protecting serum." It came in a bright yellow bottle, but I have to admit that the cap is a bit difficult to open with wet hands in the shower. It has a small flip-top cap and my fingernail kind of gets in the way of opening it.
I have tried many shampoos over the years as I get tired of things fairly quickly. I really like this one, and I think I will stick with it for a while.

I think I would enjoy the smell myself. I too am not one of those floral type people, but I love the smell of fruit
I think that I would like the scent of this one too. I'm currently using up some icky strawberry stuff that was left at our house.
This sounds like a really good shampoo. I love to try different shampoos, I get tired of using the same ones. I will definitely try this one.
I like the refreshing scents of grapefruit and lemon Mustang, so this sounds like it would be a very good shampoo to have on hand. Prolly the citrus helps keep oils from building up and that makes this Dove product worth a try.
Well this is definately something that I will be trying in the near future.
