Dr. Grip Ball Point Just What The Dr. Ordered By Jan Mayrhofer on - Updated Sep 18, 2011
What makes the Dr. Grip Ball Point Pen different? It is the really smooth silicone grip. No ridges or texture, just nice, smooth silicone.
I know it is not that often that most of us use a pen for any great length of time anymore - rather, we use our computers to compose our thoughts. There are those, however, who still need to use a pen, I being one that uses mine on the job quite a bit. I also use a mechanical pencil (review coming soon).
Two things about lthe Dr. Grip that really work for me are:
1: My fingernails are a little bit long. With a regular sized barrel on a pen, my nails poke my fingers as I grip the pen. Ouch! This problem is eliminated with the thicker, silicone-covered barrel of the Dr. Grip.
2: With prolonged use, my hands get sore and achy with a slim pen. The Dr. Grip allows me to work without pain for a much longer period of time than I would otherwise be able.
Besides the comfort this pen affords, it is durable, well built, and writes nicely. I like the regular ink, but it is also available in gel.
Hope you have a chance to check out a Dr. Grip for your own needs, I know you will like it.
Pilot Dr. Grip Retractable Ball Point Purchased at: Fry's Price: $6.99

Will check these out. I hate cheap pens that work on and off.
comfort is a big advantage especially if you write a lot. these sound like must haves for students!
