Dr. Hook And The Medicine Show By Arplix Franklin on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Something that I have noticed about the few friends that I have is, while being younger then myself, they have never heard of Dr. Hook. Insane I say! Then when I meet older people who have heard of them they think it's strange that I know them at all. That's what I grew up listening to I sang "Freakin at the freakers ball" in elementary school before I ever knew what any of that meant. I still enjoy them today.

Something that always struck me was the originality and all around difference (probably all the drugs but if it works lol). I've always been one for difference when it comes to music. I enjoy listening to the records more so then the cds because sure it doesn't sound as good but that's the whole point. It's the non remastered stuff which to me is way better then the hiped up digital stuff of today.

Some of my favorite songs are "Sylivia's mother", "Cover of the rolling stone", "i got stoned and i missed it", "Freakin at the freakers ball", "queen of the silver dollar" and of course "The wonderful soup stone". It's good to just listen to or party to even. It's one of my favorite motivational cleaning music. I highly recommend to my friends that they give Dr. Hook a try.

Unbelievable! "Everybody's fallin' in batches Pyromaniacs striking matches I'm gonna itch me where it scratches Freaking at the freakers ball" You are an interesting one. good write.
