Dr. Pepper Museum: Waco, Texas By Jennifer Claerr on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Dr. Pepper was invented in Waco, Texas, and we've got the Dr. Pepper Museum to prove it. Located inside an historical building in downtown Waco. The lower level has an old-fashioned soda fountain, museum exhibits and a gift shop. We tried Dr. Pepper floats made with vanilla ice cream, which were delicious and not terribly expensive.

Exhibits are $6 for adults, $4 for senior citizens and $3 for children. Exhibits include the The Classroom which contains Dr. Pepper memorabilia and "Curiosities," the Free Enterprise Theatre, The Artesian Well and a display of rare antique soda bottles. There is a free virtual tour of the exhibits on the drpepper.com website. There are many other sights to see and things to do in Waco, Texas so you can't go wrong with this one.

We found The Dr. Pepper Museum very interesting and stimulating and lots of fun.
