Dr. Scholl's Tan Mule Slide By bubbacat on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I was shopping for groceries last month and passed a shoe display in the aisleway. These shoes were positioned in the right spot for me to see as I was moving toward the groceries. They caught my eye. I have so many shoes and really did not need another pair. I love shoes and purses.

Anyway, I tried them on. I really liked the design and color. The price was nice too, only 20.00. Mules (slides) are my favorite. I like to just slip into my shoes with no ties or velcro. Mules (slides) are just like wearing slippers but with a nice heel. I wear many name brand shoes in this design.

I decided to give Dr. Scholl's a try. This pair of shoes was much cheaper than my regular brand. Cheaper doesn't mean quality. I really liked the shoes but two main complaints squashed the feeling.

1. These shoes are not as comfortable as my main brand. Actually the insole felt hard.

2. Main complaint: These shoes are sock eaters! I had to throw away several socks in a short amount of time due to holes. The insole heel has an oval gel design and the heel has a hard ridge. Combined, they rub on your socks creating holes.

As mentioned ,I love the design of the shoes but I just can't afford to keep buying socks!
