Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker
By JayZ onThe Dragon Quest Monsters franchise is well known through the gaming community for its entertaining gameplay and Pokemon-esque style. Veterans will be pleased to find that Joker is only an improvement upon their beloved game. While the style remains mostly the same, everything from the graphics to the storyline has been revamped and improved immensely. The style still follows the orginal catch 'em then breed 'em philosophy. This time, however, monsters are given ranks: F, E, D, C, B, A, S, X to mark their innate strength and abilities. Monsters can be bred to create an even stronger offspring. However, the ultimate determination of a monster's worth is in its level. Thus, hours and hours are spent simply power leveling. This may seem a waste of time to all but the most dedicated RPG gamers. But for those who enjoy this type of thing, this game's perfect.
