Drawbacks I Found With Lysol Kitchen Cleaner By psybie on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I was thrilled when I found Lysol Antibacterial Kitchen Cleaner. The only scent I've found is Lemon.

This product does a great job with a very mild scent of lemon.

Sadly, after several months of using this product on my white countertops I found it leaves a fairly deep yellow stain. which I have only been able to remove with cleanser or Soft Scrub and some elbow grease. I am so disappointed! I've gone back to my old kitchen product Windex until I can find something new.

Perhaps if your counters and kitchen surfaces are not white, you won't have this problem.

I have to say, this is the first time I have ever had this kind of problem with any household cleaning product. If Lysol would take out or change the type of dye they use, I would be happy to try this product again. It really did a good job of cleaning and removing grease from the stove and counters in my kitchen.

Buyer beware. You would't want to stain your kitchen surfaces!

Lysol is a good brand. Unfortunately, it is just not compatible with your kitchen surface. Thanks for sharing though.
