Dreamy 1000 TC Sheets From Amazon!

Surfing through Amazon one hot summers morning, looking for good Froggy specials, I happened on a special in bed linens. amazon was offering a variety of bed linens at up to 60% off. Since deep pocket sheeting is atrociously priced, I immediately began sniffing through their sale items. And happened on these wonderful sheets.
Though many reviewers complained these were thick, I found that to be a sign of quality and ordered two sets. I chose pure white, because my down comforter is white, and it just looks better against the dark cherry on my four poster bed.
When they arrived I opened them up and took a good close look and feel. These are unusually high quality sheets. The cotton is thick and oh so soft. The top sheet and cases have an Italian hemstitich border that is very attractive. Though they say they fit an 18" mattress, I had NO difficulty getting these to fit my deeper 20" perfectly.
They go on the bed smoothly, without a wrinkle. and they are wonderful for hot nights because they are cotton and breathable. I've had these sheets for two years now, and have had no pilling or tearing at all. They haven't shrunk or lost their pristine good looks. For the money these sheets are a true bargain!
PS I truly believe these are the higher quality 2 ply sheets. Though the site description and packaging read 1 ply, having had 2 ply sheets before, these are a very close match.

These sound like they are tight stitch. Great choice.
I wondered this myself milletap. Somehow I don't think so. They fit VERY snugly.
They sound awesome. I must have a smaller bed than you, even though I still feel like the Princess on the Pea; sitting on the edge of my bed, my feed don't touch the floor! I have sheets that say they fit 15" mattresses; mine is at least 18" and my Northern Nights sheets still fit. I'd go with white except my little dog insists on sleeping with me, and if she's chilly she burrows under the sheets. I bathe her often, but her "white" fur is more often pale brown. sigh. So, it's colored sheets, and lots of laundry for me! I think I'd love these sheets though. I agree with Oscar Wilde, who said something to the effect that "It's such a wonderful morning, it seems a shame to waste it by getting out of bed!" Rest up, froggy!

Ooh, 1,000 thread count, is that for real? I'm in heaven with anything over 400. There's nothing I hate more than pilling on my bedsheets.

I have never heard of 1000tc. They have to be wonderful. I thought I was a queen with my 600tc. You got a great deal. I wish I could just feel them. Thats awesome!!!
This sounds like sheer bliss! If I had 1000 thread count sheets, I don't think I could use anything less than that!
