Drill Accessories You Get What You Pay For! By dade on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I ordered a drill not too long ago, then realized I needed a few accessories to go with it, so I ordered the DeWalt 37 piece, drill accessory set, to dress up my new drill.

There were cheaper sets, but I had already had experience with cheaper drill bits and accessories before. This time, I wanted to be more professional about it. Beside the fact, my dad was getting a little rough around the edges, from me borrowing all his accessories, then forgetting to return them on time.

DeWalt's drill accessory set works, plain and simple. I have only had it for a short time, but none of the bits show any wear and tear yet. I have used a lot of the phillips head, attachment bits and they hold into the screws as I drill, very nicely.

The bits are shock resistant with a hardened core, to reduce breakage. Heat treated, for wear and tear. I like the drive guide the most. It is worth it's weight in gold. I have to admit, I use the guide more than I ever thought I would actually need it. Now, I never knew how I ever got along without it.

So far, this drill accessory set has paid for itself a few times over. I am getting my dad this same set I got, in time for the holidays.

Cheap drill bits just aren't worth it, that's for sure. I've broken way too many! Always good to know which sets are better quality.
