Dry Scalp Care By bubbacat on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

In my neverending search for the perfect shampoo/conditioner, I thought ,let's give Head & Shoulders a try. I picked out the Dry Scalp Care brand. They come in white bottles with blue caps consisting of 14.2 fl oz for the shampoo and 13.5 for the conditioner. I had a feeling Head & Shoulders would fail me even before I tried it. Why? I generally think of this product being a little more harsher than most.

I was correct! Maybe I just didn't give it a chance. I did give it a chance. I guess I should be commenting on the itchy dry scalp relief. I just didn't get that far as a woman who colors her hair. I noticed after only a few washes, this product was pulling the color out of my hair. Enough said, I just couldn't deal with it.

My color is important to me. I need a product which helps color-treated hair. Head & Shoulders Dry Scalp care is not the one. If you color your hair, you need a shampoo/creme rinse that addresses both problems: enhance color and dry scalp relief (if you have dry itchy scalp). In my opinion, this product is too harsh for my hair.
