SOOOOO You have 8 yr old twins and your going on a long road trip. You know that no matter what you do nothing is going to keep them happy and occupied for the next 4 hours on this long trip. All you have with you is one 6 inch portable dvd player that you can only sit on the dashboard where nobody can see it or the twins can take turns holding it and end up fighting because the other cant see it. AHH problem solved, Go to the local Walmart and buy a dual screen dvd player for the car. This dvd player has two screens that attach to the back of your headrest so both the kids can see the screens easily. THe only problem left is figuring out which movie they are going to watch without fighting over it. This dvd player plays dvds, audio cds, cdr, mp3's, and picture cds. It has a built in rechargeable battery for portable use anywhere, includes ac adapter for home use, car adaptor for travel, and it can also connect to your home tv (cable included). It also comes with a carrying/storage case.

These are great for long trips since keeping the children occupied and happy is a top priority. Your description is excellent.
I wish I had had this product when I was small. We used to take car trips and the most fun we had was playing license plate bingo! This sounds like a great player and I like that you can hook it up at home or use it in the car with an adapter.
My grandson gets so quiet when he is plugged into his dvd player. This would be a dream with two kids on a trip.
