Duck Jerky For My Dogs By Chenault on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

As you might know, my dogs are like my children. They are spoiled and probably over indulged. I recently purchased several packages of dog jerky at my local Wal-Mart super center for less than one dollar per package. My dogs really like this jerky, and it is a healthier dog treat when compared to some other brands.

I want to start off with my only complaint, I think the jerky is a little too dry and tough, it is hard to break off in peices, and I just worry about feeding my boys something that hard. It is probably good for their teeth, but I don't know...

I like that this jerky is 97% fat free, and is 98 % duck breast fillet. My dogs really love this treat, but that is not saying much, the only thing my hound dogs don't like is a small list: One doesn't like popcorn or brocoli. We haven't found anything our other dog doesn't like. In fact, we have caught him eating salad before :)

The Waggin Train wholesome duck jerky tender dog treats are available at Wal-Mart in the pet section. I will probably purchase these many more times! I would recommend duck jerky treats to anyone who likes to indulge their dogs.
