For many years in the past the famous Durham Bulls basball team played at an old delapatated stadium. The bleachers at the old stadium were falling apart and there was not a lot of seats for fans to come and enjoy a baseball game. In 1995 the Durham Bulls moved to their new stadium. The new stadium is a state of the art facility. You can park across the street from the stadium in the parking deck. Or you can find a parking spot on one of the side streets by the stadium. The Durham Bulls stadium can seat about 10,000 fans. Every seat in the stadium has an excellent view. If you are unable to get a seat in the stadium you can sit on the lawn that is in the outfield. The seats in the stadium are really roomy and comfortable. Each of the seats also have a built in cup holder. Local companies can rent the picnic areas, terrace boxes, party boxes and luxury suites for a fun filled company outing. When you rent the boxes or suites you can have the food catered in by the stadium. During some of the home games the kids get to run the bases and there are even fireworks at the end of the game. There are also several different types of concessions available in the stadium. There is also a Durham Bulls gift shop and a children's playground behind third base. My favorite part of the stadium is whenever the Durham Bulls hit a home run the famous Durham Bull's bull blows steam from its nostrils. If you are ever in Durham North Carolina during the baseball season and you are trying to decide what to do, why don't you take in a Durham Bulls baseball game. You won't be sorry.
