Dust Buster On A Stick By crizeliz on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I really like the Dirt Devil Broom Vac. While it doesn't solve all my cleaning problems it comes in handy with quick cleanups of crumby messes. The vac cannot handle items as heavy as a piece of dog kibble but lifts up most things smaller than that.

It's light and easy to use. It's a good size and easy to tuck away into a closet just like a normal broom. Once charged it seems to last two weeks or so without recharging. The idea is to sweep first and then turn on the vaccum to suck up what you've collected. I personally don't use it to sweep too often. I use my old fashioned broom for that and then I grab the broom-vac. I find a normal broom more effective because the head of the broom-vac is quite narrow and the bristles are short. After I use the old fashioned broom I use the broom vac rather than a dust pan and brush.

I do wish this picked up debris and particles that were a bit heavier than dog kibble but overall I find this a useful tool around the house. I'm sure any household with small children or other causes of regular messes could find use for this product.
