Dvd R Recordable Disks By Jenn Huffer on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

We bought a DVD burner a couple years ago for Christmas in doing so we needed to find some good DVD-R's to burn with it. We chose the Maxell Color DVD-R 10 Pack at Walmart cause it was a very good deal (less then a $1 per DVD-R). We have never been disappointed with these DVD-Rs.

They come in 5 different colors (2 disk per color) of Green, Blue, Red, Purple and yellow. Each DVD-R can hold up to 4.7 GB of media or up to 120 minutes of video (on SP speed). They also come with 10 cards that you can write what is on the DVD and when it was filmed. You can also write how long the film is in the "time" spot on the cards.

These are DVD-R's so the can not be written over. Once they are finalized in your DVD burner you have no worries of accidently recording over a special memory you do not want to lose.

The record quality is excellent as well. I have burned fim to one of these DVD-R's on the lowest setting on my burner and the video was still fantastic.

These DVD-Rs can also be read by your computer and played on Windows Media Player or Real Player.
