Dvd Review: Shaun Of The Dead By Janna on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

Shaun of the dead is a hilarious British comedy featuring Simon Pegg and Nick Frost. It features to lovable losers Shaun (Pegg) and Ed (Nick) who wake up one morning finding themselves neck deep in zombies. Shaun and Ed do their best to save their love ones and friends while trying not be eaten by Zombies. Shaun of the Dead is actually a dark comedy and there are some real scary moments.

As a fan of British humor I thoroughly enjoyed this DVD. This DVD is loaded with extras which all come on one disk. The extras include commentary from cast and crew, deleted scenes, outtakes, a hilarious scene of Pegg and Frost acting out their characters as Sean Connery and Michael Caine, extended scenes, a SFX comparison, a view of filming through the eyes of Pegg, trailers, and a trivia track to name a few.

The whole disk is about 100 minutes long and the quality is crisp and clear. This DVD makes the perfect gift for anyone who enjoys comedies, British humor, or zombie movies.
