Dyson Vacuum By Janna on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I go through vacuums like most people go through toothbrushes. You see I have a nine year old and a two year old at home so I am constantly vacuuming. I'd say I vacuum my entire house a minimum of five times a day. After going through two $200 vacuums my husband finally broke down and bought me a Dyson DC07 (this is the original Dyson upright). You see my other vacuums, while having heavy suction power, did not have continuous suction, meaning that they relied on the old pulley method. Well when the rubber band comes off the pulley sometimes it can cause quite a bit of damage to a traditional vacuum.

Like the commercial says the Dyson DC07 never loses its suction. Although if you were to run the vacuum over lets say a carpet tassel on mistake, the Dyson will make a horrendous noise. It will never lose its suction and the vacuum will not be damaged but the noise is awful.

The Dyson DC07 is not light. It can be a real task moving up and down your floors. It comes with standar attachments and a canistar that is easily removed and cleaned. All in all if you are looking for a new vacuum then I suggest that you give the DC07 a try. It does come with a limited warranty.
