Dyson Vacuum Cleaner By Eclecticbird By eclecticbird on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I had gone through three vacuums in about two years because of my hair. I should explain that I have long thick hair that my husband says I shed like a cat. Because of my hair the motors in my vacuums kept burning up. I finally decided to go with the dyson because of all the great reviews I'd read and because I have a very bad dust mite allergy and I hoped the dyson bagless system would irritate my allergies less when changing/cleaning it. It has been wonderful!

The dyson sucks up all the hair and while I do have to cut out hair from the spinny thing at the bottom (not a technical term but I bet you know what I'm talking about, and you probably chuckled) it has yet to cause serious problems and I've had it for almost two years.

Emptying the 'bag' is very easy and it just drops into the trash can. I've gotten good enough at it that I can empty it gently without stirring up any dust.

This is an excellent product and I highly recommend it!
