Earth's Best Organic Baby Foods By Tina Lehman on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
I have committed to feeding my baby organic food. Earth's Best brand foods offer a large selection of baby foods from which I can choose. I have not been able to find them in a lot of stores, so their distribution may be limited.
The color and texture of these foods are all appealing. They are packaged in standard sized baby food jars (2 ounces for 1st foods, 4 ounces for 2nd stage foods). They offer single foods (fruits and veggies) as well as dinners (turkey and sweet potatoes, peaches and oatmeal). Having tasted most of the foods before feeding my son, I believe the taste to be the same as food I make myself.
The major drawback, like with anything organic, is the cost. Buying Earth's Best organic foods will cost you about twice as much as buying regular baby food. However, if you are committed to feeding your baby organic food and do not want to make it yourself, this brand is a good bet.

What a great product for those who wish to feed their children organic food. I'm glad you enjoy this product. Thank you for sharing your experience!
I also love Earth's Best - my little one loved it! Despite the cost, we were able to find a lot of coupons, and it was actually carried at our local Walmart (surprise!).
This is beginning to be more and more common these days and I am so glad, when I have some more babies they will be eating healthy like this.
I really wish they had this more aviable when my son was younger. I cringe when I think of the baby food I used to feed him. I am glad to see more and more organic baby food in mainstream stores. We are now switching over to organic eating, its hard and the drawback is definitely the cost!
Such a cute pic! Your baby certainly looks happy with that jar of babyfood. As others have stated, organic is healthy, but pricey.
This was the only brand of baby food I would give my daughter. She enjoyed most of them. I liked that I could buy a big variety pack at Babies R Us. Yes its a bit more expensive but I felt better giving this to my baby since it was organic. We will use it for baby #2 as well.
My daughter loved this baby food. Thanks for the great information.
I'm so glad they have organic baby food & hopefully the price of it will one day go down!
That is expensive, but I'm going to check this out for my infant when she's old enough for foods. Organic is so important to me!
yes!!! I want to know more about organic for me because I have first hand seen the difference with adults on organic/vs normal american products and I was born with so many allergies that I had to be raised organic which was extremely hard back then. There is no price on the health of my baby. (which will not be for a few years, but that's not the point. :P)
