Easton Bats are used by many, and considered to be the best bats available on the market; but that is a pretty big misconception. I needed a new bat, and the level I play at requires durablilty and function due to the fact that it will be used at least Monday through Thursday almost every week and somtimes more. I bought the newest Easton Stealth available for 350 dollars,it retails at 400 dollars. It looked really nice until I started to hit with it. Not only did it sound like a hollow piece of cardboard(which apparently it is supposed to sound like), it also was broke with in a week and a half. The bat had what looked like cat scratches going all the way down the whole barrel, it also had a crack too. All of this occurred in a climate controlled turf field while hitting real baseballs. Of course the bat is still under warranty, but I really don't want the replacement if it is anything like its counterpart. If I had to recommend a bat it would be a much safer bet to go with something like the TPX 'Exo' which is a much more reliable bat.
I have heard nothing but wonderful things about Easton in the past. I would def check the warranty and get a replacement. I am not sure what they are called in bats, but it sounds like you got a lemon.
That is so sad you had to go through that with your bat-especially since you invested so much money in it. I know that Easton is one of the best brands out there for bats & I'm sorry you had a bad experience with it.

Wow.. sounds like there was something seriously wrong with that bat. I've seen old bats get like this.
So sorry this turned out to be a horrible bat. That is terrible that it messed up so fast. Plus that is really expensive to begin with. You would think it would be a better product. Hope you have more luck with the other one.

Try and get the company to give you a credit or maybe a different model bat. Do not take the 350.00 loss. That would be silly. JOEY
